About Us
|
We are committed to a breeding program of
quality, focusing on solid conformation, good disposition and
increasingly superior fiber. Our herd is comprised of true black
and grey Huacayas, with their color lines extending back through
multiple generations. Our foundation herd is fortunate to have the
genetic influence of Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, 5Peruvian
Quicksilver, 4Peruvian Midnight Express and Peruvian Caligula.
Over the last five years, vital and new
bloodlines have taken our "Galaxy of Greys" to new heights. Alpacas
available for purchase are listed on Alpaca Sales,
with direct links to their comprehensive AlpacaNation listings.

All of our alpacas are ARI registered, microchipped and BVD free.
They are raised in a clean, healthy
environment and exposed to a minimum of external stressors. They
receive the best in veterinary care, nutrition, handling, pasture
and shelter accommodation. Agistment is also provided, with your
alpacas receiving board and care equal to our own.
|
|
We have a delightful farm shop. Inventory
includes luxurious alpaca throws, crib blankets, shawls, vests,
scarves, hats, gloves, mittens, socks, yarn, animal toys, finger
puppets and alpaca bears. In an effort to give back to our
community, we donate a percentage of the Full Moon Shop annual
profit to local animal rescue efforts, donate shop items to charity
auctions, participate in Adopt-A-Highway and provide free composted
alpaca poop to anyone with a passion for gardening (believe it
or not…a highly coveted commodity!).

 |
|
We would like to share our knowledge and
enthusiasm and most importantly provide the opportunity for you to
experience these delightfully gentle and curious creatures.
Consultation regarding our startup experience and the resources we
have located is available. Or just for fun, come see our farm, meet
the alpacas and browse through the Full Moon Shop. During your
visit enter the drawing to win a gift — names are drawn on the night of the
full moon!
